Our client is looking for a commercial Project Manager to oversee projects ranging from $1M-$8M. The Project Manager will work closely with the project management team for day-to-day management and leadership of the design, construction, and close out of projects.

Job Description

  • Lead and manage all phases of industrial construction projects from initiation to completion.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and work plans.
  • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and team members to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Monitor project progress and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders.
  • Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and change orders.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.

The Successful Applicant

  • 10+ years of Project Manager/Estimator experience
  • Self storage or flex space experience is preferred
  • Exceptional communication and leadership abilities to manage teams effectively
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software
  • Strong understanding of the construction process
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams
