Job Description

The Project Manager - Commercial will:

  • Lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, forecasts, and reporting.
  • Partner closely with Superintendents to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Coordinate owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Participate in preconstruction planning, scope reviews, and value engineering efforts.
  • Manage contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and procurement activities.
  • Identify project risks and proactively develop solutions.
  • Maintain strong client relationships while ensuring quality, safety, and profitability objectives are achieved.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Manager - Commercial should have:

  • 5+ years of construction industry experience with at least 3 years in Project Management.
  • Commercial General Contractor experience is required.
  • Proven experience leading ground-up commercial building and construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of project financials, scheduling, and subcontractor management.
  • Ability to independently manage projects while collaborating effectively with field teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field strongly preferred.
  • Track record of longevity and progression with previous employers.
  • Humble, team-oriented attitude with an entrepreneurial mindset.
