Job Description

As a Project Manager - Construction - Branford, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing projects from preconstruction through closeout
  • Developing and maintaining project schedules and budgets
  • Coordinating owners, architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors
  • Overseeing interior renovation and civil/sitework construction activities
  • Managing contracts, procurement, and subcontractor buyouts
  • Reviewing and processing RFIs, submittals, and change orders
  • Monitoring project costs and preparing financial forecasts
  • Leading project meetings and maintaining client communication
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
  • Managing project documentation and reporting requirements
  • Identifying risks and implementing proactive solutions
  • Supporting project turnover and closeout activities

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience in construction
  • Experience managing both interior construction and civil/site development projects
  • Strong understanding of excavation, utilities, grading, drainage, and sitework operations
  • Experience with commercial interiors, renovations, or tenant improvements
  • Strong budgeting, scheduling, and cost control experience
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural, civil, and structural drawings
  • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously
