Job Description

As a Project Manager - Construction - Greenwich, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing luxury custom home projects from preconstruction through turnover
  • Developing and maintaining project budgets, schedules, and forecasts
  • Coordinating architects, designers, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors
  • Managing procurement, contracts, and subcontractor buyouts
  • Reviewing and processing RFIs, submittals, and change orders
  • Overseeing construction activities from excavation through final completion
  • Managing custom millwork, cabinetry, stone, metalwork, and specialty finish packages
  • Leading homeowner, architect, and project team meetings
  • Monitoring project costs and maintaining financial controls
  • Collaborating closely with Superintendents to ensure successful field execution
  • Managing project documentation, reporting, and closeout procedures
  • Identifying project risks and implementing proactive solutions
  • Ensuring all work meets project specifications and luxury residential quality standards

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience in residential construction
  • Extensive experience managing ground-up custom home construction projects
  • Proven experience with luxury estates, custom homes, or high-end residential construction
  • Strong understanding of residential construction sequencing from sitework through completion
  • Experience managing custom millwork, cabinetry, stone, and specialty finishes
  • Experience working directly with homeowners, architects, and interior designers
  • Strong budgeting, scheduling, and cost control experience
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings
  • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
