With a growing backlog of education projects, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee renovations, additions, occupied-campus projects, and ground-up construction for schools, colleges, and universities across the region.

Job Description

Glimpse of your role:

  • Manage multiple education construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts.
  • Lead subcontractor procurement, contract administration, and project buyout.
  • Coordinate with school districts, colleges, universities, architects, engineers, consultants, and project stakeholders throughout every phase of construction.
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, project documentation, and owner communication.
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and with minimal disruption to occupied campuses.
  • Partner closely with Superintendents and field teams to maintain exceptional quality and client satisfaction.
  • Mentor Project Engineers and contribute to the development of future construction leaders.

The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience with a General Contractor.
  • Proven experience managing K-12 and/or higher education construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of public bidding procedures, contract administration, scheduling, and project financial management.
  • Experience delivering projects within occupied school or campus environments is highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
