Seeking an experienced Commercial Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale, ground up municipal & commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to join a growing GC with hands-on development from the leadership team.

About Our Client

Our client is a Southwest General Contractor that's been building in AZ for 40+ years and seeing rapid growth in the Phoenix area. The client is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team as multiple projects break ground before the end of 2026. They have several high profile municipal projects coming up and are looking for someone to lead them. This company has an incredible reputation with a people-first culture.

Job Description

  • Managing ground up municipal & commerical projects from foundation to key turnover.
  • Successfully lead construction projects valued over $40M+.
  • Delivering on time and within budge projects for clients across Arizona.
  • Create and maintain the master schedule.
  • Assist in preconstruction planning.
  • Oversee a Project Engineer and delegate tasks.
  • Work alongside Superintendent and subcontractors to deliver successful projects.

The Successful Applicant

  • 3+ years of project management experience.
  • Land development experience preferred.
  • Overall experience isn't as important as relevant project experience.
  • Municipal project experience (fire stations, police stations, etc).
  • Demonstrated ability to direct, organize, and communicate with people of all levels and personalities.
  • Ability to read and understand contracts, blueprints, construction project schedules, and scopes of work.
  • Ability to successfully manage moderately complex projects from preconstruction stage to completion.
  • Experience working on projects ground up & valued over $40M (minimum requirement).
  • Experience managing budget, schedule, logistics, etc.
  • Client-facing skillset, friendly and collaborative.
  • Familiarity with Procore.
