Job Description

  • Prepare conceptual and hard-bid estimates for commercial construction projects.
  • Analyze drawings, specifications, and project requirements to develop accurate budgets.
  • Solicit, review, and qualify subcontractor bids.
  • Develop scopes of work and assist with subcontractor buyout.
  • Manage ground-up retail and automotive dealership projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Maintain project budgets, schedules, and financial reporting.
  • Process change orders and manage project costs.
  • Coordinate with field teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and trade partners.
  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.

The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years of Project Management and/or Estimating experience with a commercial general contractor.
  • Proven experience with ground-up big box retail construction.
  • Experience managing automotive dealership construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of estimating, budgeting, procurement, and contract administration.
  • Experience managing projects ranging from $1M to $50M.
  • Proficiency with estimating and project management software.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
