The firm delivers negotiated projects across healthcare, commercial, retail, hospitality, and industrial markets, and is growing from $50M to a targeted $92M business by expanding its ground-up construction division.Job DescriptionManage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeoutReview and interpret plans, specifications, scopes and contractsCoordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers and ownersMaintain strong, consistent client relationships throughout the projectLead project meetings and manage day-to-day project communicationTrack RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay applications and project documentationReview subcontractor pricing and perform trade takeoffs / scope reviewsMonitor project financials, including buyout, billing, costs and projected final costsIdentify potential project issues early and develop solutions before they become problemsCoordinate closely with field teams to ensure projects are being built according to plans, specifications, schedule and quality standardsHelp identify opportunities for additional work and repeat businessMentor and provide guidance to APMs and Project CoordinatorsStay hands-on with project details rather than simply delegating responsibilitiesInitially oversee $3M-$7M healthcare renovation projects, with the opportunity to transition into and help build the company's ground-up construction portfolioBring a customer-focused approach that strengthens relationships with owners, architects and subcontractors and supports future negotiated workMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
