Our client is a well-established general contractor specializing in multi-family and commercial construction throughout the Chicagoland area.

Job Description

Glimpse of your role:

  • Manage multiple ground-up multifamily construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Oversee project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client communication.
  • Lead project meetings and coordinate with field teams, owners, architects, and subcontractors.
  • Handle change orders, billing, forecasting, and overall financial performance.
  • Work closely with estimating and operations to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Utilize Procore, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office to manage projects efficiently.

The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience in commercial construction.
  • Ground-up multifamily project experience is required.
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong budgeting and financial management skills.
  • Experience leading project teams and coordinating subcontractors.
  • Proficiency with Procore, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred (extensive construction experience will also be considered).
  • Local to the Chicagoland area or able to commute to Clarendon Hills.

  • Base salary of $120,000-$150,000 (flexibility available for exceptional candidates).
