Job Description

The Project Manager - Ground Up/TI Commercial will:

  • Manage multiple commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Build and maintain relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Lead project teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Monitor project financial performance and identify opportunities to improve outcomes.
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and oversight to Project Managers within the Special Projects Group.
  • Support business development efforts and assist in maintaining key client relationships.
  • Visit active jobsites regularly to monitor progress and support project teams.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Manager - Ground Up/TI Commercial should have:

  • 7+ years of construction industry experience.
  • 5+ years managing commercial building and construction projects.
  • Experience creating project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and a polished, professional presence with clients.
  • Experience leading teams, mentoring staff, or serving as an informal team lead.
  • Background in education, healthcare, commercial, renovation, or special projects construction is preferred.
  • Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is highly desirable.
