About Our Client

Excellent opportunity to work for a reputable GC in the Fort Lauderdale, FL area. This reputable company boasts a positive company culture, an excellent work/life balance, and a strong pipeline of healthcare construction work. They are looking to add Project Managers to their construction team who will grow within the department to help lead the pre-construction team.

Job Description

    • Manage healthcare construction projects from preconstruction through final completion.
    • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and procurement plans.
    • Coordinate owners, architects, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors.
    • Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates to clients and leadership.
    • Ensure compliance with AHCA, Joint Commission, NFPA, OSHA, and healthcare-specific requirements.
    • Oversee infection control risk assessments (ICRA) and interim life safety measures (ILSM).
    • Review contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
    • Monitor project financial performance, forecasting, and cost controls.
    • Identify risks proactively and implement mitigation strategies.
    • Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
    • Build and maintain strong client relationships while promoting repeat business opportunities.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare construction project management.
  • Proven experience with AHCA guidelines and healthcare-specific construction regulations.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
