Job Description

The responsibilities of a Project Manager:

  • Lead healthcare construction projects from preconstruction through final completion
  • Manage project teams, including project engineers, assistant project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors
  • Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and financial forecasts
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, consultants, and trade partners
  • Oversee contract administration, change management, procurement, and risk mitigation
  • Coordinate project planning activities to ensure quality, safety, and schedule objectives are achieved
  • Monitor project performance and drive successful project execution
  • Facilitate team collaboration between field operations and project management staff
  • Review and approve project reports, forecasts, and cost controls
  • Ensure healthcare facility requirements, compliance standards, and client expectations are successfully met

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
  • 5-15 years of commercial construction experience
  • General Contracting experience required
  • Proven experience managing healthcare construction projects
  • Experience leading projects valued at $50M+ with ideal experience in the $75M-$400M+ range
  • Demonstrated success managing project teams and multiple stakeholders
  • Strong financial management, budgeting, scheduling, and client management skills
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
