They also put an emphasis on culture and community involvement by hosting OSU tailgates, volunteering at the local food bank, and other company outings.Job DescriptionThe Construction Project Manager will be responsible for:Provide project leadership and establish, implement and support a proactive project safety cultureManage the development and review of bid packages to procure competitive subcontract proposalsManage job-site subcontractor meetings to ensure that the project goals are metReview monthly invoices and oversees documentation and approval needed to ensure timely funding for the projectLead the management of cost reporting including but not limited to contracts, purchase orders, and scope revisions to achieve defined project goalsEnsure overall financial health of the project and project forecastsRepresent our client in the subcontract negotiationsDevelop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are metCoordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants throughout all project phasesOversee project startup, execution, and closeout processesMonitor jobsite activities to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and safety standardsIdentify and mitigate project risks, delays, and cost overrunsManage RFIs, submittals, and change orders throughout the project lifecycleBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendorsEnsure quality control standards are consistently met on all projectsLead internal project team meetings and provide clear direction to field staffTrack and manage procurement of materials and long-lead itemsResolve field issues and conflicts in a proactive and timely mannerPrepare and present project status updates to senior leadershipEnsure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulationsSupport business development efforts through client interaction and repeat work opportunitiesDrive continuous improvement in project delivery processes and best practicesMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
