We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to oversee the successful planning, execution, and delivery of luxury restaurant, hospitality, and entertainment construction projects throughout South Florida. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction with specific experience in upscale dining, boutique hospitality and high-end interior fit-out projects.

Job Description

Project Leadership & Management

  • Manage multiple high-end hospitality and restaurant construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, procurement plans, and staffing requirements.
  • Lead project kickoff meetings and ongoing coordination meetings with clients, architects, designers, consultants, and subcontractors.
  • Monitor project performance and proactively identify risks, conflicts, and schedule impacts.
  • Ensure all project deliverables meet contract requirements, quality standards, and client expectations.



Preconstruction & Planning

  • Participate in estimating, budgeting, value engineering, and constructability reviews.
  • Review drawings and specifications for completeness, coordination, and potential conflicts.
  • Develop bid packages and assist with subcontractor selection and contract negotiations.
  • Coordinate permitting activities and ensure compliance with local South Florida building requirements.



Financial Management

  • Manage project budgets, cost reporting, forecasting, and change order processes.
  • Review and approve subcontractor invoices and owner billings.
  • Track project profitability and identify opportunities to improve financial performance.
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and clients.



Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, developers, architects, designers, and hospitality operators.
  • Serve as the primary client liaison throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage expectations and ensure exceptional customer service and communication.
  • Maintain a professional presence and represent the company at industry meetings and events.



Construction Operations

  • Work closely with Superintendents to ensure field activities align with project goals.
  • Oversee procurement of long-lead materials, specialty finishes, commercial kitchen equipment, and FF&E.
  • Ensure projects adhere to safety standards, quality control procedures, and company policies.
  • Coordinate final inspections, punch list completion, commissioning, and project closeout activities.

The Successful Applicant

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience with a commercial general contractor.
  • Proven experience managing high-end restaurant, hospitality / hotel projects.
  • Strong understanding of commercial construction methods, scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration.
  • Experience with project management software such as Procore, Prolog, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Bluebeam, or similar platforms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Project.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout South Florida project locations.



Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience delivering projects ranging from $2M to $25M+.
  • Knowledge of South Florida permitting processes and local building codes.
  • Experience working with luxury hospitality brands, fine dining operators, and boutique hotel developers.
  • OSHA 30 Certification.
  • LEED accreditation or sustainability experience is a plus.
