Seeking an experienced Project Manager interested in joining an up-and-coming company with a very long runway for growth. The Project Manager will coordinate contracts and be the primary contact for clients in the Energy and Critical Infrastructure markets across the Southeast. This role involves moderate site visits, with 5 - 10 days / month out-of-town depending on project status.

Job Description

  • Seek out and obtain bid invitations from prospective and existing clients
  • Work alongside the President, VP, and Project Superintendents to deliver successful projects
  • Manage and develop assigned staff toward maximum job performance
  • Build and maintain rapport with architects, vendors, in-house labor crews, and external subcontractors as needed
  • Understand and administer contract and subcontract agreements.
  • Establish, communicate, and implement the Project Schedule
  • Manage budget and financial reporting
  • Interpret and analyze reports to ensure adherence to project budget.
  • Provide leadership in risk evaluation, contract negotiations, and fee and pricing decisions

The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years experience in Construction Project Management
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or related field strongly preferred
  • Experience with ground-up projects is required
  • Experience managing PEMB projects is an advantage
  • Experience with Industrial clients is an advantage
  • Proficient in project management software
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to visit jobsites across the Southeast on a monthly basis
