Job Description

  • Prepare and review project estimates and budgets
  • Participate in conceptual budgeting and value engineering discussions
  • Develop scopes of work and bid packages
  • Support client discussions during design and preconstruction phases
  • Manage projects from award through completion
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets
  • Track costs, change orders, and project financial performance
  • Ensure successful project delivery while maintaining client satisfaction
  • Maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
  • Lead project meetings and provide regular status updates
  • Coordinate internal and external project stakeholders
  • Act as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle
  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies
  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements and project specifications
  • Monitor quality control throughout construction
  • Support project closeout and turnover activities

The Successful Applicant

  • Previous Project Management experience with a General Contractor
  • Ability to estimate and manage preconstruction responsibilities
  • Experience delivering commercial construction projects
  • Strong budgeting, scheduling, and cost control skills
  • Excellent communication and client management abilities
  • Ground-up commercial projects valued between $10M and $25M+
  • Experience in retail, aviation, industrial, and warehouse construction
  • Design-build project experience
  • Strong relationship builder
  • Financially and operationally minded
  • Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
