Job Description

  • Manage all phases of construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Lead the successful execution of municipal and public-sector projects utilizing CMAR delivery methods.
  • Maintain project budgets, schedules, quality standards, and client relationships.
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Oversee project planning, procurement, risk management, and field operations.
  • Support business development efforts and help establish a strong local presence within the Raleigh market.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams while fostering a collaborative culture.
  • Ensure project milestones are achieved safely, efficiently, and in alignment with client expectations.

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager within commercial construction.
  • Strong background managing municipal, public-sector, or government projects.
  • Experience working on CMAR (Construction Manager at Risk) projects preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multiple stakeholders and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Strong financial management, budgeting, scheduling, and project controls experience.
  • Stable career history with consistent tenure and progressive responsibility.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong reputation within the local construction market and commitment to quality project delivery.
