Our client is a well-established construction manager and builder with approximately $100M in annual construction volume and a team of 56 employees. They specialize in life science, laboratory, healthcare, manufacturing, industrial, commercial, and historic renovation projects, with work ranging from tenant fit-outs and renovations to large-scale building repositioning and ground-up construction.

Job Description

  • Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project stakeholders
  • Oversee project budgets, schedules, contracts, change orders, and procurement activities
  • Coordinate onsite construction operations and ensure project objectives are achieved
  • Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication among all project participants
  • Monitor project performance, quality standards, safety requirements, and risk management initiatives
  • Collaborate closely with field teams to resolve challenges and maintain project momentum
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to client expectations

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Manager should have:

  • 3-10 years of Project Management experience within the construction industry
  • Experience managing commercial construction projects
  • Life Science, Laboratory, Healthcare, Manufacturing, or Industrial project experience strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of construction scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work onsite full-time at project locations throughout Greater Boston
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders in active construction environments
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
