Job Description

    • Manage construction projects from pre-construction through final completion.
    • Develop, monitor, and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
    • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal project teams.
    • Lead project meetings with clients, architects, engineers, and stakeholders.
    • Manage RFIs, submittals, contracts, change orders, and project documentation.
    • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, quality standards, and contractual requirements.
    • Oversee project cost controls and identify opportunities to improve project performance.
    • Work closely with field teams and Superintendents to drive successful project execution.
    • Provide regular progress reports to clients and senior management.
    • Support project closeout activities, including punch lists, commissioning, and turnover.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Manager should have:

    • 5+ years of Project Management experience with a General Contractor.
    • Proven track record managing commercial construction projects from inception through completion.
    • Strong understanding of construction means and methods, scheduling, budgeting, and estimating.
    • Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
    • Knowledge of contracts, subcontractor management, and project controls.
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
    • Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office.
    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
    • Experience working on projects throughout Long Island and the New York market is highly desirable.
