Alabama based Developer / General Contractor established for more than 30 years is searching for a Project Manager with multifamily or commercial experience to join their team. This role involves buyouts, coordination, and management for mid-sized projects ranging from $1M rehabs to $30M new builds across the Southeast.Heavy travel not included.

Job Description

  • Manage a full project lifecycle, from inception through to closeout
  • Manage all scopes of work involved - no pigeon holing here
  • Perform buyouts to ensure budgets are maintained
  • As necessary, update plans and schedules for field staff
  • Work with Superintendents to coordinate subcontractors and manage on-site production.
  • Manage and push through all change-orders, RFI's, submittals, etc.
  • Build and maintain relationships with owners / clients

The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years of experience in Construction Project Management
  • Must have construction experience in the multifamily or commercial markets
  • Desire to help move a business forward
  • Working knowledge of construction technology and details. Candidate must be extremely proficient reviewing and understanding all construction documents including specifications and drawings
  • Experience with ProCore is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills with various parties including management, subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and clients.
  • Desire / ability to build and maintain relationships
