My client is seeking a experienced Multifamily Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multifamily construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background managing multifamily developments, from mid-rise apartments to large-scale residential communities.

About Our Client

My client is a small local developer and GC focused on multifamily garden-style builds throughout the Carolinas. They have several high profile project coming up in their pipeline and are looking for an experienced PM to join their team, lead on projects, and work in tandem with the leadership team as they continue to scale their business. My client has an excellent reputation in the Indianapolis market, and a very strong backlog of projects.

Job Description

  • Managing ground up multifamily projects from foundation to key turnover
  • Successfully lead construction projects valued over $20M
  • Delivering on time and within budge projects for multifamily clients across Indianapolis
  • Create and maintain the master schedule
  • Assist in preconstruction planning
  • Oversee an Assistant Project Manager and delegate tasks
  • Work alongside Superintendent and subcontractors to deliver successful projects

The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years working on multifamily projects
  • BS Degree in relevant field required.
  • Land development experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to direct, organize, and communicate with people of all levels and personalities.
  • Ability to read and understand contracts, blueprints, construction project schedules, and scopes of work.
  • Ability to successfully manage moderately complex projects from preconstruction stage to completion.
  • Experience working on projects ground up & valued over $20M (minimum requirement).
  • Experience managing budget, schedule, logistics, etc.
  • Ground-up wood frame multi-family experience required.
  • Familiarity with Procore
