Job Description

The Project Manager - Multifamily Developer - Charleston will be responsible for:

    • Lead multifamily construction projects from groundbreaking through turnover
    • Manage project budgets, schedules, contracts, and overall financial performance
    • Coordinate with owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and field teams
    • Oversee procurement, subcontractor buyout, and risk management activities
    • Monitor project progress and proactively resolve schedule or cost-related issues
    • Ensure projects meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards
    • Review and approve change orders, pay applications, and monthly reporting
    • Mentor and support Assistant Project Managers and project staff

The Successful Applicant

The Project Manager - Multifamily Developer - Charleston should have:

    • 5+ years of Project Management experience with a general contractor or developer-builder
    • Proven experience delivering multifamily, mixed-use, or large residential projects
    • Strong understanding of construction management, budgeting, and scheduling
    • Experience managing subcontractors and maintaining client relationships
    • Ability to lead multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
    • Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office
