Job Description

  • Lead all phases of large-scale commercial/multifamily construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, contracts, and overall financial performance
  • Coordinate project teams, subcontractors, consultants, and owners to ensure successful project execution
  • Oversee procurement activities and maintain project schedules in fast-paced construction environments
  • Monitor project costs, forecasts, and risk management strategies
  • Review construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents to ensure compliance
  • Drive quality control and safety initiatives throughout project lifecycles
  • Manage client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact during project delivery
  • Negotiate subcontractor agreements and resolve project challenges proactively
  • Mentor and develop project engineers and assistant project managers

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline preferred
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience with a commercial general contractor
  • Proven experience leading ground-up commercial construction projects valued at $25M-$50M+
  • Industrial/warehouse project experience strongly preferred, especially projects exceeding $60M
  • Strong understanding of commercial construction methods, materials, and building systems
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents
  • Experience managing project schedules, budgets, procurement, and subcontractors
  • Knowledge of local permitting and regulatory requirements
  • Strong leadership, communication, and client management skills
  • Experience with Procore, Microsoft Office, and related construction technology platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex project challenges and negotiate effectively
  • Authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements
