The Multifamily Construction Project Manager plays a critical role in executing renovation scopes, maintaining owner relationships, and upholding quality standards. The Multifamily Construction Project Manager will work closely with senior leadership known for its strong market reputation and hands-on approach.

Job Description

The Multifamily Construction Project Manager is responsible for managing renovation projects from planning through closeout, ensuring schedule, budget, and quality objectives are met.

  • Plan, direct, and coordinate multifamily renovation projects across multiple sites
  • Manage subcontractors, site operations, inspections, and quality control
  • Oversee projects including interior unit renovations, roofs, balconies, exteriors, amenities, and clubhouses
  • Coordinate exterior scopes such as repainting, waterproofing, structural repairs, and window/door replacements
  • Perform detailed material take-offs and manage line-item project budgets
  • Track schedules, change orders, and due diligence activities
  • Ensure compliance with contract documents, building codes, and safety standards
  • Communicate project progress, risks, and updates to owners and internal leadership
  • Work with suppliers and trade partners to schedule and track material deliveries
  • Utilize RedTeam and standard construction software to manage project documentation
  • Operate independently while maintaining accountability across multiple projects

The Successful Applicant

The ideal Multifamily Construction Project Manager will bring hands-on renovation experience and a strong execution mindset.

  • 3-6 years of construction management experience in multifamily renovations
  • Experience managing projects such as unit renovations, roofs, balconies, exteriors, amenities, and student housing
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in construction management (preferred, not required)
  • Strong existing network of subcontractors and proven project execution history
  • Skilled in detailed material take-offs and line-item budgeting
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cost-control skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with confidence presenting to owners and clients
  • Ability to perform efficiently with minimal direct supervision
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Adobe, and RedTeam
