They partner with investor-owned utilities, municipalities, cooperatives, renewable energy developers, and industrial clients to deliver critical transmission and substation projects that support grid modernization, renewable integration, and system reliability.Job DescriptionManage multiple transmission, distribution, and substation projects from initiation through closeout.Oversee construction activities for projects ranging from 69kV to 500kV.Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and project closeout activities.Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and resource plans.Lead meetings with clients, contractors, utility representatives, and internal project teams.Monitor construction progress, identify project risks, and implement mitigation strategies.Review project scopes, contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and field reports.Coordinate outage planning and construction sequencing with utility clients.Ensure compliance with OSHA, utility safety standards, environmental regulations, and company procedures.Manage subcontractors and construction contractors throughout project execution.Track project financial performance, including budgets, invoicing, forecasting, and cost control.Provide regular project status updates to leadership and clients.Support business development efforts by identifying additional project opportunities and maintaining strong client relationships.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
