Job Description

Manage projects from contract award through final closeout.

Review drawings and specifications to identify constructability and coordination issues.

Participate in project turnover meetings and establish project execution plans.

Administer subcontracts, purchase orders, and vendor agreements.

Manage subcontractor compliance, insurance, bonding, and project documentation.

Oversee prevailing wage and certified payroll requirements.

Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.

Track project costs, forecasts, pay applications, and budget performance.

Price, negotiate, and manage change orders.

Lead the submittal and RFI process.

Prepare formal correspondence with owners, architects, consultants, and subcontractors.

Facilitate project meetings and maintain strong client relationships.

Support field operations with procurement, scheduling, and contract administration.

Monitor project progress and proactively resolve project challenges.

Manage punch lists, closeout documentation, warranties, and turnover requirements.

Coordinate project commissioning and occupancy milestones.

The Successful Applicant

5+ years of experience as a Project Manager for a commercial, public, or institutional contractor.

Experience managing New Jersey public sector construction projects preferred.

Knowledge of prevailing wage, certified payroll, public bidding requirements, and public agency procedures.

Strong understanding of architectural, structural, civil, and MEP drawings.

Experience handling project financials, schedules, and contract administration.

Proficiency with Procore or similar construction management software.

Experience with Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.

Strong written communication and documentation skills.

Proficiency with Bluebeam and Microsoft Excel.

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
