Job Description

Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage all phases of large-scale K-12 construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors throughout project execution.
  • Lead subcontractor procurement, contract administration, change orders, and cost control efforts.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively resolve schedule, budget, and operational challenges.
  • Partner closely with Superintendents to ensure successful field execution and project delivery.
  • Conduct regular project meetings and provide updates to senior leadership and clients.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

The Successful Applicant

A Successful Project Manager Should Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in a true Project Manager capacity with a commercial general contractor.
  • Proven experience managing public K-12 school construction projects valued at $20M+.
  • Demonstrated responsibility for project scheduling, financial management, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Stable work history with reputable construction organizations.
  • Strong understanding of public-sector construction processes and client management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications.
  • Experience with P6, JD Edwards, Textura, and BIM 360 Field is considered a plus.
