Job Description

    • Manage healthcare and SCA construction projects from inception through completion.
    • Oversee project schedules, budgets, procurement, and contract administration.
    • Coordinate field teams, subcontractors, consultants, and client stakeholders.
    • Review and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
    • Ensure compliance with SCA standards, healthcare regulations, and NYC building requirements.
    • Monitor project costs, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
    • Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates to clients and senior leadership.
    • Maintain the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence.
    • Successfully manage project closeout, commissioning, and turnover activities.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Manager should have:

    • 5+ years of Project Management experience within commercial construction.
    • Demonstrated experience managing healthcare construction and/or SCA projects in New York City.
    • Strong understanding of construction scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and project reporting.
    • Experience working for a General Contractor on public, institutional, or healthcare projects.
    • Knowledge of healthcare facility requirements, occupied renovations, and infection control practices is highly desirable.
    • Familiarity with SCA procedures, documentation, and compliance standards.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar construction management software.
    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
