Job Description

  • Manage all phases of ground-up retail, restaurant, and QSR construction projects from preconstruction through final turnover
  • Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, forecasts, and cost controls
  • Lead subcontractor procurement, buyout, and contract administration activities
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, consultants, franchise representatives, and subcontractors
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, permits, and project documentation
  • Monitor project performance and proactively mitigate schedule, budget, and quality risks
  • Oversee project financial reporting, forecasting, and cost management
  • Lead project meetings and maintain strong stakeholder communication throughout the project lifecycle
  • Partner closely with Superintendents to ensure efficient field execution and resource allocation
  • Ensure projects comply with contract requirements, safety standards, and quality expectations
  • Manage project closeout activities, punch list completion, and client turnover
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry partners

The Successful Applicant

  • 2+ years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction
  • Proven experience managing ground-up retail, restaurant, or QSR construction projects
  • Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and cost controls
  • Experience managing subcontractors, contracts, and change orders
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
