We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager to support the delivery of ground-up multifamily construction projects throughout North Carolina and the Southeast. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership while helping manage schedules, budgets, project documentation, subcontractors, and field operations from project kickoff through completion.

Job Description

    • Identify and pursue new project opportunities within existing and prospective client accounts.
    • Support the planning and execution of ground-up multifamily construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
    • Coordinate project schedules, budgets, contracts, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
    • Partner with field teams, subcontractors, consultants, and ownership groups to maintain project progress and quality standards.
    • Utilize Procore and Bluebeam to manage project information, streamline communication, and track deliverables.
    • Monitor project milestones and proactively identify risks, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
    • Conduct periodic site visits to active construction projects throughout the region.
    • Assist in maintaining project compliance with safety, quality, and company standards.
    • Provide regular updates to senior leadership regarding project performance, schedules, and key deliverables.
    • Collaborate with the Multifamily Construction leadership team to drive successful project outcomes.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 2+ years of construction project management or assistant project management experience.
  • Experience on ground-up multifamily construction projects from start to finish.
  • Experience with garden-style, podium, wrap, or other multifamily product types.
  • Proficiency with Procore and Bluebeam.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Professional communication skills and the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Stable work history demonstrating strong tenure and project commitment.



Preferred Experience

  • Experience working for a multifamily general contractor, builder-developer, or integrated real estate organization.
  • Exposure to projects across multiple locations or regional portfolios.
  • Strong understanding of multifamily construction operations and project controls.
