Job Description

The Project Manager is responsible for:

  • Working in a remote capacity with occasional visits to the jobsite (1/week then 2/month once project up and running.)
  • Managing construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, including budgeting, scheduling, and contract administration.
  • Leading subcontractor procurement, buyouts, negotiations, and change order management.
  • Monitoring project costs, forecasting, billing, and financial reporting to maintain budget performance.
  • Coordinating owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and field teams to drive project execution.
  • Ensuring compliance with quality, safety, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
  • Overseeing project documentation, reporting, turnover, and closeout activities.

The Successful Applicant

The right Project Manager has the following qualifications:

  • 10-15+ years of Project Managment experience
  • 5+ years of experience in multifamily wood frame construction projects
  • OSHA 30 hour preferred
  • First Aid-AED training preferred.
  • Additional safety certifications a plus
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook. Knowledge of Timberline, Bluebeam, Adobe and Onscreen Takeoff software, a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction or Civil related field (Ex: Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Engineering Technology) preferred or equivalent relevant experience.
