Job Description

  • Manage NYC SCA construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
  • Oversee schedules, budgets, scopes, contracts, and change orders
  • Coordinate with SCA, DOE, consultants, subcontractors, and inspectors
  • Lead renovations, upgrades, and new school construction projects
  • Ensure compliance with SCA standards, NYC DOB, and public‑sector regulations
  • Track RFIs, submittals, procurement, and project documentation
  • Conduct OAC meetings and prepare reports for stakeholders
  • Support work in occupied schools and phased construction environments

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Manager should have:

  • Proven Project Manager with NYC SCA experience (required)
  • Background in school construction, renovations, or public‑sector projects
  • Strong understanding of SCA workflows, documentation, and compliance
  • Experience managing schedules, budgets, and subcontractors
  • Comfortable working in active/occupied school environments
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Experience managing projects in Queens, NYC preferred
