Job Description

The Responsibilities for an Assistant Project Manager/Project Manager:

  • Manage multiple construction projects simultaneously from turnover through completion.
  • Lead subcontractor and vendor management activities to ensure scope, schedule, and budget requirements are met.
  • Review, track, and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and proactively identify schedule risks.
  • Perform cost-to-complete forecasting and monitor job profitability throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, budget updates, and project performance metrics.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, clients, consultants, and trade partners to drive successful project execution.
  • Ensure projects meet quality, safety, and client expectations.
  • Support projects involving commercial interiors, secure facilities, executive offices, conference centers, cafeterias, and workplace environments.
  • Travel to project sites as needed to support nationwide project delivery.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Manager and Assistant Project Manager should have:

  • Strong understanding of construction project management fundamentals.
  • Experience managing subcontractors, vendors, project finances, and schedules.
  • Demonstrated experience with cost forecasting, profitability analysis, and financial reporting.
  • Experience leading commercial construction or interior renovation projects.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience managing SCIF, secure facility, federal, defense, or intelligence-related projects.
  • Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, and Vista.
  • Familiarity with Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
  • OSHA 30 certification, or willingness to obtain certification with company support.
  • Flexibility to travel as project needs require.
