My client, which has been in business for over 100 years, already has a strong list of repeat clients in addition to their constantly-growing bid portfolio. One of their core markets include manufacturing facilities, where they perform as both GC and Subcontractor for concrete, steel, and metal building scopes. This company self-performs these trades, allowing them to capitalize on margins much more effectively. They are seeking a Project Manager or high-level Assistant Project Manager to join their Huntsville office and help drive the continued growth of that business. Travel is not an expectation with this role, as most all projects will be within the North AL area. Job DescriptionSeek out and obtain bid invitations from prospective and existing clientsWork alongside the regional VP and Project Superintendents to oversee entire project staffManage and develop assigned staff toward maximum job performanceBuild and maintain rapport with architects, vendors, in-house labor crews, and external subcontractors as neededUnderstand and administer contract and subcontract agreements.Establish, communicate, and implement the Project ScheduleManage budget and financial reportingInterpret and analyze reports to ensure adherence to project budget.Provide leadership in risk evaluation, contract negotiations, and fee and pricing decisionsMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
