Well-established commercial general contractor is seeking a Project Manager to join its growing Raleigh team. Job Description

  • Oversee all phases of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, contracts, and risk mitigation efforts.
  • Lead project teams while coordinating with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Drive project execution to ensure quality, safety, and client satisfaction goals are achieved.
  • Support preconstruction planning, estimating reviews, and value engineering initiatives.
  • Monitor project financial performance and maintain accurate forecasting.
  • Foster strong client relationships and identify opportunities for repeat business.
  • Collaborate with leadership on strategic project planning and operational improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, industry regulations, and safety requirements.
  • Contribute to a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale commercial construction projects.
  • Background in healthcare, life sciences, higher education, aviation, industrial, or institutional construction preferred.
  • Strong understanding of project budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and contract administration.
  • Experience leading project teams and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage complex projects with values ranging from $50M-$100M+.
  • Proficiency with construction management software and project controls tools.
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and client service.
