Job Description

As the Building and Construction Project Manager, you will:

  • Manage multiple construction projects from inception through completion.
  • Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and forecasts.
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates.
  • Review contracts, project plans, and specifications.
  • Manage procurement, subcontractor agreements, and project buyout activities.
  • Monitor project costs and implement strategies to maintain profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and company policies.
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans.
  • Oversee project documentation, change orders, RFIs, and closeout processes.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal Building and Construction Project Manager candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience within commercial construction.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, contracts, and project delivery methods.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and project teams effectively.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with construction management software and project scheduling tools.
  • Strong organizational and communication abilities.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive client relationships.
  • Results-driven approach with a commitment to quality and safety.
