Job Description

The Project Manager's Responsibilities:

  • Lead ground-up light commercial and retail construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout.
  • Collaborate with company leadership to support continued growth, project acquisition, and expansion into new market sectors.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, design teams, general contractors, and subcontractors while driving project quality, safety, schedule, and budget performance.
  • Manage all aspects of project administration, including contracts, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation utilizing modern construction management platforms.

The Successful Applicant

The Successful Project Manager:

  • 5-10 years of progressive commercial construction experience leading complex projects from preconstruction planning and estimating through successful closeout and turnover.
  • Extensive knowledge of design-build delivery methods, construction operations, industry best practices, and strategic project execution methodologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Proven expertise in cost estimating, conceptual budgeting, value engineering, bid solicitation, scope development, and procurement strategy.
  • Advanced proficiency with construction management platforms; experience with Procore or similar project management systems strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success managing project schedules, cost control, subcontractor coordination, change management, quality assurance, safety compliance, and overall project performance.
  • Exceptional client relationship and communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead project teams, collaborate with owners and stakeholders, and drive successful project outcomes.
