Our client is a respected South Florida general contractor specializing in commercial construction projects across Fort Lauderdale in hospitality, retail, dining, entertainment, and general commercial developments. Job Description

  • Manage commercial construction projects from pre construction through closeout.
  • The project manager must develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and forecasts.
  • Lead subcontractor buyout, procurement, and contract administration efforts.
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, and field teams.
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
  • Monitor project financial performance and maintain profitability goals.
  • Partner closely with Superintendents to ensure successful field execution.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks before they impact schedule or budget.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to leadership and clients.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and support repeat business opportunities.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience with a commercial general contractor across the Fort Lauderdale market.
  • Experience managing ground-up and renovation commercial projects.
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, cost control, and contract management.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • The project manager must have experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar construction software.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Restaurant and dining facility projects, hospitality construction and retail construction
