Job Description

  • Lead all phases of project delivery from award through completion.
  • Manage project budgets, forecasts, schedules, procurement activities, and contract administration.
  • Oversee project teams including Project Engineers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and field personnel.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, municipalities, and regulatory agencies.
  • Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions as needed to achieve financial and operational objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, environmental requirements, and quality standards.
  • Review and negotiate subcontracts, change orders, vendor agreements, and purchase orders.
  • Prepare and present project status reports, cost analyses, and executive updates.
  • Lead project meetings and coordinate resources across multiple stakeholders.
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to support successful project execution.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote best practices in project management.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years of project management experience within heavy civil construction, utilities, infrastructure, transportation, or public works sectors.
  • Proven track record managing projects valued between $20M and $200M+.
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, scheduling, cost control, estimating, and risk management.
  • Experience working on municipal, state, federal, or private infrastructure projects.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage project P&L performance.
  • Proficiency with project management and construction software platforms.
  • Ability to lead high-performing teams in fast-paced and challenging project environments.
  • OSHA certification, PMP, PE, or CCM credentials are advantageous but not required.
