Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Lead project planning meetings and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage subcontractor procurement, contracts, and performance.
  • Track project costs and ensure financial objectives are achieved.
  • Prepare and review RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
  • Collaborate with Superintendents to ensure field operations align with project goals.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and vendors.
  • Monitor project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and company procedures.
  • Provide regular project updates and progress reports to leadership and clients.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Building and Construction Project Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of project management experience within the construction industry.
  • Experience managing commercial, multifamily, healthcare, education, or industrial projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, scheduling, budgeting, and cost control.
  • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar construction management software.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent financial management and forecasting skills.
  • OSHA certification is a plus.
