Job Description

  • Manage projects from preconstruction through completion and turnover.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost controls.
  • Review plans, specifications, contracts, and project documentation.
  • Manage subcontractor procurement, buyout, and contract administration.
  • Lead project meetings and maintain strong communication with project stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress, quality, costs, and schedule performance.
  • Review and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and pay applications.
  • Work closely with the Superintendent to coordinate field operations.
  • Identify potential risks and develop solutions to keep projects moving forward.
  • Maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Lead project closeout and turnover activities.

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven experience managing multifamily construction projects.
  • Experience with ground-up construction is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, scheduling, budgeting, and cost management.
  • Ability to manage multiple project stakeholders and subcontractors effectively.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with construction project management software such as Procore is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required based on experience.
