The company has established long-standing relationships with public agencies, school districts, and institutional owners throughout Chicago.This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to take ownership of multiple JOC and K-12 construction projects, working directly with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal construction teams.Job DescriptionThe Project Manager will oversee JOC and K-12 construction projects throughout Chicago, managing projects from preconstruction through final closeout while ensuring they are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.Responsibilities include:Lead JOC, Chicago Public Schools (CPS), and K-12 construction projects throughout ChicagoManage multiple construction projects simultaneously from preconstruction through closeoutDevelop and manage project budgets, schedules, cost forecasts, and procurement strategiesCoordinate Superintendents, Project Engineers, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and other construction professionalsBuild and maintain strong relationships with CPS, public agencies, school districts, architects, and ownersManage RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement, buyout, and contract administrationMonitor project financial performance, billing, forecasting, and overall project profitabilityLead owner and project meetings while providing consistent project updatesEnsure construction activities meet Chicago public-sector requirements, safety regulations, and quality standardsReview estimates and support preconstruction and business development effortsManage project closeout, punch lists, warranty, and turnoverMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
