Job Description

  • Manage commercial construction projects from initiation to completion.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates to stakeholders.
  • Review contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards.
  • Monitor project performance and proactively identify and resolve issues.
  • Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee procurement activities and subcontractor performance.
  • Ensure successful project closeout, including punch lists and final documentation.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Building and Construction Project Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
  • Proven experience managing multiple commercial construction projects simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project controls, and contract administration.
  • Proficiency with project management and construction software platforms.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong financial management and budget tracking experience.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • PMP, CCM, LEED, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
