Job Description

  • Manage commercial construction projects from award through completion.
  • Develop, monitor, and maintain project budgets, schedules, and forecasts.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
  • Lead project meetings and communicate project progress to stakeholders.
  • Review and manage contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and procurement activities.
  • Coordinate project teams to ensure quality, safety, and operational excellence.
  • Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Ensure projects meet all regulatory, contractual, and safety standards.
  • Oversee project closeout, punch list completion, and final documentation.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Building and Construction Project Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects.
  • Proven success delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial construction practices, contracts, and project controls.
  • Experience with construction management software and scheduling tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Strong financial acumen and budget management experience.
  • OSHA certification and additional industry certifications are a plus.
