Job Description

Manage commercial interior construction projects from award through closeout.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts.
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, architects, engineers, and clients.
Review and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, permits, and procurement activities.
Lead project meetings and communicate project updates to stakeholders.
Monitor project progress and proactively address challenges affecting schedule or budget.
Collaborate closely with Superintendents to ensure successful field execution.
Maintain project documentation and financial reporting.
Manage projects in occupied environments while minimizing disruption to clients and tenants.
Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building regulations, and quality requirements.
Oversee punch-list completion, project turnover, and closeout documentation.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Building and Construction Project Manager should have:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
5+ years of experience as a Project Manager within commercial construction.
Proven experience managing commercial interior fit-out and renovation projects.
Experience with corporate office, healthcare, education, life sciences, hospitality, or retail interiors.
Strong understanding of construction contracts, budgeting, scheduling, and procurement.
Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office.
Experience managing projects ranging from $1M-$20M+.
Excellent communication, leadership, and client management skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
