Job Description

    • Identify and pursue new project opportunities within existing and prospective client accounts.
    • Develop budgets, proposals, estimates, and competitive bids during preconstruction.
    • Manage projects from award through closeout, ensuring successful execution of scope, schedule, and budget.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to generate repeat business opportunities.
    • Coordinate closely with field leadership, superintendents, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
    • Conduct site visits, client meetings, and project reviews throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Monitor project financial performance and proactively address risks and challenges.
    • Support business development initiatives by leveraging industry relationships and market knowledge.
    • Oversee customer follow-up and post-project service to strengthen long-term partnerships.
    • Travel regularly to project sites and client locations within approximately two hours of the Grover, NC area.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Experience as a Project Manager within commercial or industrial construction.
  • Proven ability to manage projects through all phases of construction.
  • Strong understanding of estimating, budgeting, and project financial management.
  • Experience coordinating with owners, subcontractors, and field operations teams.
  • Ability to travel regularly throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, and surrounding markets.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and client-facing skills.



Preferred Experience

  • Background in preconstruction and estimating.
  • Experience supporting business development efforts and generating new opportunities.
  • Experience managing light industrial upfit projects.
  • Exposure to small commercial projects including retail, restaurant, and institutional work.
  • Track record of developing repeat business and long-term client relationships.
