Purchasing Director - Food and Packaging

• As the Director of Purchasing - Food and Packaging you will develop and implement procurement and sourcing strategies for food and packaging materials to meet business objectives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable sourcing and cost efficiency.
• Conduct market analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost savings.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
• Monitor supplier performance and address any issues to ensure consistent quality and delivery.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement activities with business goals.
• Manage and optimize inventory levels to meet operational demands while minimizing costs.
• Manage, train and mentor a purchasing and procurement team.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all procurement activities.
• This role is onsite based in Victorville, CA.
