Job Description

  • Generate and maintain quality inspection documentation including FAIRs, PPAPs, and inspection plans for incoming, in‑process, and final inspections.
  • Program and operate advanced inspection systems to support final and incoming quality checks.
  • Manage daily priorities within the QA/QC lab, ensuring accurate measurement methods and on‑time shipment readiness.
  • Train inspectors and develop work instructions, visual aids, and streamlined inspection processes.
  • Partner with suppliers and procurement to resolve vendor quality issues and drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead MRB and RMA activities, ensuring timely root cause analysis and customer communication.
  • Apply structured problem‑solving methodologies such as 8D, FMEA, Ishikawa, and 5‑Why.
  • Use statistical and data visualisation tools to analyse trends and inform quality decisions.
  • Support new product development and testing, collaborating cross‑functionally to improve manufacturing yield.
  • Participate in internal, external, and third‑party audits while reviewing customer quality requirements and engineering drawings.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical discipline.
  • 5+ years' experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering within an ISO 9001 manufacturing environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of core quality tools and root cause analysis techniques.
  • Experience working with ERP systems and managing quality data.
  • Confident communicator with strong documentation and stakeholder‑management skills.
