Job Description

  • Lead the development and implementation of the U.S. Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Manage customer complaints, ensuring timely responses, thorough investigations, and effective CAPAs
  • Oversee sample management and documentation to ensure traceability and compliance
  • Maintain and improve QMS elements including HACCP, CAPA, change control, and quality metrics
  • Partner closely with global quality teams to align on customer expectations, audits, and best practices
  • Support customer audits, warehouse inspections, and quality documentation requests
  • Develop and maintain SOPs and quality documentation
  • Drive QMS processes to support ISO, BRC, GMP+, and regulatory certifications
  • Partner with commercial teams on product qualification, specifications, and method alignment
  • Train internal teams on regulatory requirements and quality standards
  • Support FSMA/FSVP compliance and warehouse GMP certification
  • Stay current on industry trends through trainings and seminars

The Successful Applicant

A successful Quality Assurance Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific or technical discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in quality assurance within food, nutrition, or ingredient-based industries



Working knowledge of:

  • FDA cGMP regulations (21 CFR 111 and/or 117)
  • HACCP and ISO-based quality systems
  • FSMA/FSVP compliance requirements



Experience managing QMS processes, audits, and corrective actions

  • Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems and standard business software
