Job Description

  • Analyze manufacturing processes and identify improvements in quality, efficiency, and cost
  • Lead investigations into nonconforming products, including containment planning, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
  • Manage and track Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) metrics to drive process improvements
  • Review, audit, and approve product compliance documentation (e.g., FAI, EIDP, inspection reports)
  • Collaborate with customers to address quality issues through reviews and presentations
  • Develop rework procedures for nonconforming materials
  • Interpret customer quality requirements for quotes and purchase orders
  • Lead mid-level internal audits to ensure compliance with processes and standards

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in quality engineering or a related discipline OR 9 years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree OR 3 years of experience with a Master's degree
  • Experience with manufacturing processes, quality systems, and root cause analysis
  • Familiarity with compliance documentation and audit processes
  • Ability to lead quality initiatives and collaborate cross-functionally
  • Strong communication skills for internal and customer-facing interactions
  • Experience with AS9100 preferred
